This is a 3-week guided group learning experience designed for busy people who want to make the most of their money while living a fulfilling life.
Over the course of three weeks, six 30-minute LIVE intensive workshops will be offered with two being taught each week at times that fit into your schedule. Workshops are held Monday through Thursday. (topics and schedule below)
Total live classroom time expected = 3 hours. All sessions will be held virtually over Zoom.

Session 2: Building a Solid Framework with Groups & Categories
Set up the structure of the budget for your success while building with gratitude.
Session 3: Targets and Views: What Are They and Why Use Them?
Adding in and personalizing the details (the trim work) for efficiency and planning.
Session 4: Funding the budget: Adding Accounts and Assigning Money
Cash is the fuel for the budget. We decide what it powers and can adapt our plan as needed.
Session 5: Using Credit Cards, the Loan Planner, and Working in the Register
Clearly understand how to handle daily transactions and how to reconcile accounts.
Session 6: Keeping House: Sticking with a Budget that Serves You
Understand reports, build in habits and processes that work, and learn how to budget with a partner.
FAQs:
What support will I have?
You will be supported: I don’t want anything to stand in the way of your success. Along with encouraging review and resource emails sent by me, you’ll have email access to ‘ask me anything’ during the training and through the end of 2023. I will do my best to be responsive within a reasonable timeframe. You will also have the option to be part of the larger community conversation via a private group chat we will establish to share knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration together.
Will there be a replay?
Yes, I will record the workshops and intend to email a recording of each session after its final live viewing, but — I highly recommend showing up live and being fully present to experience this workshop optimally. Energy is contagious and there will be some time for interactive sharing and asking questions during the sessions. I anticipate camaraderie and community will be a natural part of this experience. Additionally, the learning will progressively build upon each session, and I don’t want anyone to fall behind.
Will I need to share sensitive or personal information?
No. I highly value privacy. There is no requirement to share anything that makes you uncomfortable, but you are optionally welcome to share details if you’d like. You can remain anonymous or known – the choice is yours and all preferences are respected and honored.
What is the time commitment outside of class?
This piece is 100% self-paced. The time required will vary widely per individual/family. The topics taught are foundational principles and will permit you to confidently set up and use YNAB as a life-long life skill. Take your time implementing it or do a quick start and tweak as you go. I hope to set you up for success in 2024 and beyond: this timeframe is easily feasible for even the busiest of families. The good news is that using YNAB becomes more efficient and easier to use over time! It’s better to take steps at a pace that’s comfortable for you (no matter how small) rather than give up and quit.
Is this just a disguised sales gimmick that won’t really give me any helpful information or transformation?
No. I am a person of integrity and don’t want to waste anyone’s time. There is no fluff in this training. I’ve worked hard to keep the learning as succinct as possible, focusing on the essential concepts. I believe this training will enable you to use and implement YNAB confidently. Deeper individualized one-on-one training will be available for participants at a discounted rate after the workshops are done, but it is not at all required to reach the objective of confidently and effectively using YNAB for your success.
Why is the price so low, what’s the catch?
I want to give back and eliminate any barriers when it comes to stewarding money well. I hope this program provides tremendous value and flexibility. My only ask is for honest feedback. I am learning from you as you learn from me. Offering live group sessions is a new avenue of teaching for me. Without feedback, it’s more difficult to improve; I want this program to be the best it can be. I do plan to charge more during future trainings.
What is the cost of YNAB software?
YNAB is an online (web and mobile) software accessible anywhere you have an internet connection. As a certified coach, I am able to give my students a 94-day free trial (as compared to the 34-day trial available to everyone). No credit card is required to sign up (just an email account) and you can cancel at any time with no questions asked. After the free trial – the cost is either $ 99 annually or $ 14.99 per month. YNAB has done some survey research and here are the stats regarding the return on investment: $600 is saved by new budgeters by their second month using YNAB on average, $6,000 is saved by new budgeters in their first year, and $8,000 was paid off by the average YNAB customer during a 2021 debt paydown challenge. If that’s not enough, all YNAB subscribers can share their subscription with up to 5 other users and each user can create UNLIMITED budgets.
What about guarantees or refunds?
Again, I’m here to eliminate any barriers. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, just email me for a full refund: no questions asked. I do believe that if you put in the effort (ie: show up, set intentions, follow through) — you will get meaningful results. Since I cannot control what effort you put in - (or your definition of success), I cannot guarantee results, but I do believe you will get out of this program what you put into it.
