What to Expect

We customize and tailor a plan to fit your needs. No matter how little you need us, we guarantee to keep your best interest in mind. We never push, pressure, or try to sell you on anything you don’t need and we do our best to guard you against others who may do so.

Our initial consultation is always free. It is simply a ‘get-to-know-each-other’ meeting: feel free to invite and involve your loved ones. We believe you must first trust us and feel comfortable before any commitment. From our initial contact, we’ll include a confidentiality agreement signed by all parties – we take your privacy very seriously.

Our services are unique as they can be short-term project based, or long-term: building a relationship through weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual interactions. We are flexible and enjoy working from our client’s homes or places of business and we have our home office available. Our fee structure is initially hourly and is discounted for the first 120 days (travel charged at half rate); after this initial period, the relationship and services can be evaluated to assemble a service package along with a regular monthly fee or the hourly fee structure can remain.

Day to Day

A hands-on, practical approach to manage the everyday business of life

  • Open, sort and respond to mail &/or email review & analyze bills
  • Contact payees if billing errors or negotiate fees as an advocate & shop for most economical options
  • Prepare checks for signing & mailing (supplemental report provided)
  • Perform banking and online bill-paying functions as applicable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Prepare & deliver bank deposits
  • Assist with home payroll functions
  • Review & interpret medical insurance papers and claim status
  • Interface with & serve as family liaison with family members and other professionals including CPA’s, financial advisors, attorneys and home service providers
  • Referrals to other service providers and professionals
  • Organize documents for tax preparation and track deductions
  • Document all instructions on how to pay all bills
  • General small business bookkeeping, including the real estate and rental industries
  • QuickBooks set up, training, and assistance (Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Online)
  • Maintain &/or create home office filing system

Organization and Planning

Information is power: have a clear financial picture and information readily available

  • Provide user-friendly personal financial reports
  • Tracking &/or budgeting of expenses
  • Cash flow mapping/planning
  • Track & interpret investment statements
  • Create an inventory of assets & investments (know your “net worth”)
  • Strategic and methodical savings & debt pay-down ideas
  • Maintain &/or create home office filing system
  • Organize, purge, and shred the accumulated paper that can easily build up over the years
  • Assistance to consolidate and simplify

Security and Peace of Mind

Preserve and protect your legacy

  • Provide secure, electronic archival of primary financial documents
  • Preserve and protect online passwords
  • Practice security measures for wallet contents, social security numbers and insurance cards
  • Review and analyze credit report and retrieve credit score
  • Create a ‘master’ list of all insurance policies & appropriate details
  • Create a ‘master’ list of all key contacts (insurance, legal, financial)
  • Provide a ‘lock box’ instructing document
  • Assist in creating a ‘digital estate’ plan
  • Assist in retrieving unclaimed assets
